Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened accordingly. We reserve the right to treat a late arrival of more than 15 minutes as a non-attendance.

Payment is due at the time of booking or at the time of your appointment, as indicated during the booking process. We reserve the right to update our fees with reasonable notice.

We do not offer direct billing to private health insurers. If you have private health insurance that covers physiotherapy, it is your responsibility to obtain pre-authorisation from your insurer and to seek reimbursement directly. We can provide you with an invoice and clinical notes as required.

06

Clinical matters

Consent to treatment

Before any assessment or treatment, we will explain what is involved and seek your consent. You have the right to refuse or withdraw consent at any time without it affecting your future care.

Clinical outcomes

Physiotherapy is a process and results cannot be guaranteed. Progress depends on a range of factors including the nature of your condition, your engagement with any home exercise programme, and your overall health. We will always aim to provide care consistent with current best clinical evidence.

Referrals

If during your assessment it becomes apparent that your condition requires investigation or management beyond the scope of physiotherapy, we will advise you to seek appropriate medical attention and, where appropriate, provide a written referral letter.

Home exercise

You are responsible for carrying out any exercises or self-management strategies as advised. We accept no liability for injury resulting from failure to follow the instructions given, or from the continuation of exercises after you have been advised to stop.

07

Liability

LC Physiotherapy and Performance Ltd holds professional indemnity and public liability insurance appropriate to our regulated clinical activities.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising out of or in connection with the provision of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific course of treatment in question.
