Physio that fits around an office day in Victoria
Victoria and Westminster are full of people who spend most of the day at a desk, and much of what I see here is pain that builds up over the working week: a stiff neck by Wednesday, headaches by Thursday, a back that complains after a long meeting or the commute.
Appointments run on weekday mornings, so you can be seen before work and be at your desk afterwards. Treatment combines hands-on work with practical changes to your day and a short strength plan you can actually keep up. I will not simply tell you to sit up straight. Read how I approach posture and desk-related pain.
What I treat in Belgravia
- Posture and desk-related pain: neck, upper back and shoulder tension from long working days
- Neck pain and neck-related headaches
- Low back pain, including pain that flares with sitting
- Shoulder pain
- Persistent pain that has not settled with rest or previous treatment
- Posture & performance for runners, court-sport and gym athletes
- Sports injuries, knee and foot & ankle problems
Your first appointment
The first session is 60 minutes: your history, how the pain behaves through the day and week, a movement and strength assessment and, if work is part of the picture, a look at your setup and routine. By the end you will know what I think is going on and what the plan is. Treatment usually starts in the same session.
No GP referral is needed. Sessions are self-pay, and I provide itemised receipts if your insurer reimburses you.
